What a fun game. When I realized that GTA 3 was set in New York City (loosely, with the first island resembling Brooklyn [Red Hook harbor as Portland harbor, Park Slope represented by the Italian brownstone neighborhood called St. Mark's], the second island is Manhattan, with the dense business district, tall buildings and large central park, and the third island represents New Jersey, with Newark Intl. airport, the suburbs of North Jersey, and the ghetto of west Newark) I knew Vice City would be set in a loosely defined Miami Florida, and it is. South Beach, Downtown Miami, Little Havana, Little Haiti-- all the neighborhoods are there. The only problem is that in reality, downtown Miami is located to the south, not the north of little Havana and little Haiti. Playing the game is about the same as GTA 3. You can steal cars, boats, helicopters, seaplanes, dirt bikes, motorcycles, etc... The missions are based on 1980's Miami, with drugs, cash, women, power, strip clubs... all in one game.
This is one of the better games available of the PS2. Well worth the $$
