Ok, I admit it: When I heard that GTA: LCS was coming out on PSP, I actually sold my Gameboy SP and games and bought a bare PSP.

The game is a mixture of GTA 3, with a sprinkle of Vice City and San Andreas. In fact, if you have played GTA 3, you already know the map! The VC and Sa part of the game is that you now have Sanchez bikes all over the city and see vague sightings of some places from SA as well as the characters that you might've heard in Las Venturas.

Controls: A bit slugish, since you don't have as many buttons to choose from. To aim, you need to hold down the L-key and press the "O" However, just like with anything, you will eventually get used to them.

Radio Stations: GTA 3 Stations with NEW content: LCFR(Chatterbox) where you will hear from Lazlow; Head Radio, Lips 106, Double Cleff FM, Rise FM, K-Jah, MSX 98, Flashback FM; NEW STATIONS: Radio Del Mundo and Liberty Jam featuring DJ Clue as himself!!!

Packaging: Map/Poster and the instuctional manual, which resembles a mini-newspaper.

Bottom Line: If you loved the previous GTA games and you currently own a PSP, you HAVE TO get this---You won't be sorry!

This game is fun but it is not as polished as gta 3. I was a little dissapointed with this game after spending a few hours with it. It has some impressive new features, but for me it just didn't seem as fun as gta 3. I think the developers focused too much on making the video game version of scarface, i would have rather had a godfather knock off, maybe in the next game. Overall it's still an addictive game and is better than 95% of the games today.

What a fun game. When I realized that GTA 3 was set in New York City (loosely, with the first island resembling Brooklyn [Red Hook harbor as Portland harbor, Park Slope represented by the Italian brownstone neighborhood called St. Mark's], the second island is Manhattan, with the dense business district, tall buildings and large central park, and the third island represents New Jersey, with Newark Intl. airport, the suburbs of North Jersey, and the ghetto of west Newark) I knew Vice City would be set in a loosely defined Miami Florida, and it is. South Beach, Downtown Miami, Little Havana, Little Haiti-- all the neighborhoods are there. The only problem is that in reality, downtown Miami is located to the south, not the north of little Havana and little Haiti. Playing the game is about the same as GTA 3. You can steal cars, boats, helicopters, seaplanes, dirt bikes, motorcycles, etc... The missions are based on 1980's Miami, with drugs, cash, women, power, strip clubs... all in one game.

This is one of the better games available of the PS2. Well worth the $$

First off, these games incredible. Perhaps the best action RPGs I ever played for a really dark / sarcastic sense of humor. If people do not understand that the games are satirical, they should probably not play it ... The excessive violence is humorously sadistic fun.

That being said, I can not believe that these little children here and say things before spouting ridiculous they come. Sorry, but you should little kids, you do not play these games, nor am Iinterested in your opinion or justification for doing so.

I was absolutely stunned by the 12-year-old, which is something like "there is female nudity in this game, and this is bad, because the parents react negatively to beat the game posted." If you think that nudity is the most repulsive in this game, you are completely forgotten ... and if nudity is what the parents are obvious to the simple fact that children should not thank for this, then God will be awarded for the nudity.
Forget all those silly dispute over the new game's Hot Coffee mode ... These games should be adults only rated to begin with ...

Parents !!!!: This is a game where your character can have sex with a prostitute, then they beat to death to get your money back. Then you can use the money to buy a gun and go kill some cops. You can kill the innocent old ladies for kicks and go unpunished for it. You can enter a code that makes the game more violent, so that the spraying people with yourMachine gun will fly their arms and their heads explode. You can send a highway with your abandoned car block and then up a hill with a rocket launcher and start blowing away that traffic jams. You can climb to the top of a tall building, and take innocent pedestrians with a sniper rifle. Your character will be employed by members of the Mafia and Yakuza, and he will be involved in drug smuggling and human trafficking, weapon. In this game, the police are your enemy. Thisis a game that rewards you for committing heinous crimes, and it is an absolute blast any other game out there ...

DO NOT BUY this game for your kids! Do not listen to your children when you convince them to buy it for them to try!

There are few things behind the hard-core porn, I say, are five free firewalls for children would. You should be at least 17 to play this game. Of course, these little children are tempted to say that it is ok for children, but come on! They loveit because its mad fun!

Video games are not just for children anymore, and makes this game that obviously clear. It is a big step forward for this medium as an art form to a valid, but it is also for parents to pay attention and do not assume that video games dangerous for children.

With GTA IV quickly to news of yesterday, it seems a little strange to leave it predecessor GTA San Andreas, but the idea came to me after playing the new version this weekend. While GTA IV is much better, graphically, and adds that much more realism into the game, the cost of this is too much for me. They gave to so much of what made San Andreas fun and that's why I play video games - to have fun and be entertained.

In the Bizarro world of San Andreas, you get to playthe epic character of Carl Johnson, a brash, irreverent, obscene, gangsta, some of the funniest lines I've heard drop. How can you not love a guy who screams: "I hate gravity!" from falls of a building? Priceless. The beauty of this game is not yet in the missions. All this stuff is pretty boring for me. I do not care if I meet complete missions or tasks or whatever, always trust, that the gamers. I will only shoot someone with a dome Lop Kitana, her head with aSniper rifle and watch the fountain spray of blood, or they throw bombs and blow up then knapsack on the air, observe the trajectory of the body. I would laugh my tail off, as I about the people on a motorcycle and start to fly sky high, I would like to hear the ridiculous offensive banter, I will want the world into oblivion bazooka, I use cheats and myself invincible, I Super Punch want someone fifty yards down the road, I want a variety of machines from a jetpack to fly a hydra, Iwant meaningless sex with a variety of freaks, I play myself on the coarsest and named perverse horses, I want one million Black Jack want to bet to win and then shoot the dealer, I would side missions as a cop to do ambulance drivers, train driver or pimp to kill drug dealers and money I want, I want to shoot the endless stream of Elvis impersonators stroll through Las Venturas. I want all that and much more. San Andreas delivers this is unfortunately spade and GTAnot IV. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the video game equivalent to a god in a world of abundance. It allows me, the casual game player, vent some frustration, laugh until it hurts, and lose myself for the occasional hour or two in a world where I am king, and no one can stop me. My goodness ... not we all want from time to time, or is it just me?

While my son and I have to finish all the missions and the entire action is part of the game, we still have a few other sideto accomplish things that we or not, because really, who cares to do that? We reach all the cheats we could find, and that made it fun and easy, and so that much more fun. I do not play video games, to be challenged. Life is challenging enough and I did not devote endless hours to the game. I am a casual game player, not so much role-playing quests and heroic. I am only in for the laughs, and they are a guarantee every time I spend an hour or two with my boy CJ.

It may not be a splashy leap forward, but Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in its own deep, dark way does just as much to move and revolutionize video games as its two predecessors, Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. As in previous installments, here you play as a thug with problems you must steal and shoot your way out of, but the problems this time are disconcertingly more realistic. You play as Carl Johnson, known on the street as CJ, a likeable criminal type who has just returned to his hometown, Los Santos (a fictionalized Los Angeles), to find that his mother has been murdered and that the police have framed him for another murder. Reunions with his friends and a troubled relationship with his brother set off a sprawling, complex plot line, taking place at first in the immediate Los Santos area but eventually spilling into San Fierro (based on San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas).

This is an honest effort to create an engaging story about sympathetic characters caught up in a brutal environment that is on par with a movie or novel.

Gaming Gangsters

Where Vice City took its cues, with tongue firmly in cheek, from the 1980s television series Miami Vice, San Andreas is a sincere homage to early 1990s innercity gangster films like Menace 2 Society and Boyz ‘N the Hood. This is an honest effort to create an engaging story about sympathetic characters caught up in a brutal environment that is on par with a movie or novel. If that effort hits a few flat notes (you would have to be totally desensitized not to wonder if it's OK to make entertainment out of driveby shootings), it may also mark the first step toward video games growing up. The first thing that fans of earlier GTA games will notice is the range of action is much wider now: Along with shooting, running, and driving, there's now swimming, eating, working out, shopping, and, yes, getting a haircut. All this means the game has a fairly steep learning curve. But, though the pick-up-and-play appeal of Grand Theft Auto III may be long gone, your access to the action becomes fairly transparent after a little practice. My only serious complaint is that, with the controller now crowded with such previously unheard-of functions like "Gang Active" and "Talk Positive," you can drive only with the left analog stick. A minor point, but it makes cars a lot more difficult to handle.

Bicycles take on a surprisingly central role.

Vehicular Variety

It would be hard to surpass the variety of automobiles available in earlier games, and San Andreas wisely does not for the most part try to compete on that score. Instead, it's bicycles of all things that steal the show. The bikes' speed and flexibility are perfect for many of the missions, and there is something about cruising through the streets and basketball courts on a BMX that just feels right. If you play far enough into the game, you will also be rewarded with the chance to fly a number of aircraft, and flying is something Rockstar makes a greater effort to get right this time (welcome news for anyone who struggled with the planes and ‘copters of the earlier games).

Lackluster Graphics--but a Real Feel

Graphics--never a huge priority for Rockstar--actually take a step backward from the luscious, tropical look of Vice City. Textures are rendered with only a cursory attention to detail, and contours are often blocky. It scarcely matters, though, because no matter how San Andreas looks, it feels real. This is due in no small part to voice work by an all-star cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Ice T, James Woods, Peter Fonda, and Outkast's Big Boy and a stellar soundtrack with tunes by Soundgarden, 2Pac, Public Enemy, and even a few country classics from the likes of Willie Nelson. But it's not just realistic, San Andreas is also vast, encompassing three big urban centers and huge swaths of rural land (complete with shotgun-toting farmers) between them. This vastness does mean, however, that there can be a lot of tedious driving to get to the missions, which, along with some awkward sequencing of the cut scenes (they are in places stacked one on top of the other), means that there is a bit too much downtime. But never mind the quibbles. Ladies and gentlemen, we have another classic on our hands. --David Stoesz

This game has everything you can fly, swim, have more to fight like crazy, and a striking degree of freedom. Like the other GTA games. They always seem better with every game they make and realistic as well. If you really do not like so much realism, then by all means look for the large amount of cheat codes for this game and fun they make the options very wide, and your style if you like to bolt and run wild, without following the game plot.
