Welcome Back to Aperture Laboratories

In Portal 2 players awake in the Aperture Science Labs as Chell, the heroine of the original game. A great expanse of time has passed since the conclusion of the first game and the gameworld has fallen into visible disrepair, but placed in suspended animation, Chell has survived intact and is revived. With the help of a robotic entity the concluding events of the past game are revealed and you escape your initial confinement, but in doing so GLaDOS, the the AI computer antagonist from the previous game is also reawakened. Just as fickle as ever, GLaDOS' motives are unknown. Insisting on testing you, it may assist you but may also be planning something more sinister.

Gameplay

Like the original game, Portal 2 is a first-person Platform-Puzzle game. In the single player campaign players assume the role of Chell, a former test subject trying to gain her freedom from the Aperture Science facility and GLaDOS, the AI controller of the facility. Set in the test chambers of the facility your goal is to make your way through the game levels using your portal gun (the Aperture Science Hand-held Portal Device). The portal gun creates temporary passages through solid surfaces, allowing for creative platforming and multiple possible means of clearing a level. The game also requires the player to solve puzzles at times to clear sections of levels. In addition to point-to-point movement through portals, players can also utilize other means of movement of themselves and various objects. These include: using the momentum of portal movement to make jumps to open positions like ledges; tractor beams; and special propulsion/repulsion gels that can be carried or stored.

New Cooperative Mode

Portal 2 contains a multiplayer option in the form of a two-player co-op mode. This is playable both locally and online, with split-screen functionality available in local play and in select places during online play. Players assume the role of one of two robotic characters, Atlas or P-body, both new to the franchise. These two have separated from the control of GLaDOS and so must survive its anger, divvied out in the form puzzles, obstacles and misdirection. Each player has control of their own portal gun, which they use to platform through the game levels, avoiding its dangers and relying on each other.

The Story
Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster somehow familiar, yet still quite different from anything ever seen has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city. It is a Big Sister, new denizens of Rapture who were once one of the forgotten little girls known as Little Sisters, known to inhabit the city's dank halls. No longer a pawn used to harvest ADAM, the dangerously powerful gene-altering lifeblood of Rapture, from the bodies of others and in turn run the risk of being harvested herself, the Big Sister is now the fastest and most powerful thing in Rapture. You, on the other hand are the very first Big Daddy, in fact the prototype, that for some reason has reactivated. You are similar to the Big Daddies familiar from the original BioShock, but also very different in that you possess free will and no memory of the events of the past ten years. The question is, as you travel through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city beneath the waves, hunting for answers and the solution to your own survival, are you really the hunter, or the hunted?

Gameplay and Multiplayer
In BioShock 2 players will take on the role of the original Big Daddy, not that of game one protagonist, Jack. As a Big Daddy you will have access to all the strengths and weapons of a standard Big Daddy, including the drill and rivet gun. More importantly you also possess free will and the ability to use plasmids and gene tonics genetic modifications allowed for through ADAM, a stem cell harvested from conquered enemies, or sea slugs outside the Rapture air lock, and powered by the in-game injectable serum known as EVE, which can be found, captured or purchased. Plasmids and gene tonics provide a wide range of aggressive and passive abilities which can be upgraded and arranged for quick use. The ability to use plasmids and tonics gives you a decided edge over other Big Daddies and most other denizens of Rapture, excluding the powerful Big Sisters. In addition, due to their role as a Big Daddy, players will experience a new relation to the Little Sisters. Upon defeating standard Big Daddys you are given the familiar choice as to whether to harvest or adopt them. Harvesting gains you ADAM immediately, but could alter your path through the game, while adopting makes you responsible for Little Sisters, who then accompany you through Rapture, but also provide aid and warning in times of danger. Additional gameplay features include: new plasmids, weapons and the ability to combine these two.

The game also features the anticipated multiplayer modes. Several of these are team-based, allowing up to 10 players. Within these players are provided with a rich prequel experience that expands the origins of the BioShock fiction, and allows you to play as one of several characters pulled from Rapture's history before the events of the first game.

If your PS3 is suffering with the Yellow Light of Death or YLOD error, there is every chance that if your machine does not have a current warranty you will be looking for a PS3 YLOD repair service.

The YLOD usually means a general hardware failure within the console.

Sending your PS3 to the manufacturer for repair or finding a local repair service can be very expensive, and you may get a refurbished machine back, minus the data you had saved on your hard drive.

In addition, some PS3 owners have run into repeat problems or new errors after having their system fixed. That can end up in even more repairs and costs.

Here are some of the PS3 fixes you can try yourself.

1. Switch off and Reboot.

Turn your machine off and let it cool down thoroughly and start over again.

2. Cables and Connections.

Check for loose cables. Sometimes this simple check can be all it takes to fix that annoying yellow PS3 light issue. Make sure that all the cables are tight and connected properly.

3. The Hard Drive.

The Playstation's hard disk is known to cause some problems. Sometimes when installing a game, it is possible for the Yellow Light of Death to appear.

A possible solution to this does require some knowledge of removing the Playstation 3′s hard disk and re-formatting it on your personal computer.

All of your saved games, downloaded content and other data on your hard disk will be lost with this method.

You will need to remove the PS3 hard drive and connect it to your personal computer, select the PS3 drive and then reformat the drive. Re-insert the PS3 disk into the console and boot it up.

4. Cooling and Overheating.

One of the first things you can do to fix your PS3 YLOD problems is to turn off your PS3.

Just simply turn off your PS3 for at least 20 minutes or so. This will allow your PS3 to cool down.

Take your console out to a cool place, remove all the cables and use a low power vacuum cleaner to gently remove dust from all the vents. Many PS3 errors are due to overheating, and vents clogged with dust accumulation. Check that the fans are working.

5. Fix it Yourself.

A good PS3 repair system should include fixes for a whole range of problems that may show up - including the various error lights, blu-ray drive problems, and many other issues.

I'd love to see more stuff like this on the DS, a mature, hilarious game, and honestly my favorite GTA game to date. They integrated the stylus perfectly, they really did, I love how you'd have to use it to break locks search dumpsters, and the PDA system is brilliant, it's smooth and painless. As many other reviewers have stated, the drug dealing system is almost a game all of it's own, but the main storyline is where it's at, there is all the humor you'd expect from a GTA game, the characters you interact with are sleezy and cheap, backstabbing jerks, and I love it. I definitely got my moneys worth out of this game, between exploring the 3 islands, sidequests and main story, I finished the game in just 20+ hours. So it isn't terribly long, and there is replay value after you're done with the main arch. You can continue and find stuff to do. Anyways, this game does deserve the praise, and hopefully more mature titles WILL come to the little handheld.

Here comes the next chapter in the gta series. San Andreas is absolutely huge with three cities, Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas, along with countryside in between, makes for a long storyline, and much content hidden in between the cities.

San Andreas is so huge that it can get annoying driving from one city to the next. But this however can be solved and it makes for a taste of something different.

With SA long storyline it can keep you busy and entertained for months on end.

Overall a fantastically made game. Not recommended for kids under the age of thirteen. Rockstar shows how a game company can push a game to its limit.

The only things so far that I don't like about this game is that you can't fly airplanes (at least not to my knowledge).Also the mission where you have to remove the liquor from the warehouse is REALLY annoying me.You can swim in this game,but not for too long as you wind up dying.Sometimes I enjoying going around assaulting people/blowing things up,but hate getting busted.I have to put in the never wanted cheat several times in the game which was different than San Andreas as I only had to put the code in ONCE while playing it.Weapons are almost the same in every game of the gta series!I rather enjoyed San Andreas the most as you could go to flying and driving school.I liked the vehicles better in that game also.

Fantastic addition to the GTA franchise. My favorite GTA is still Vice City but with this version, they allow you to skip the boring and useless parts...like driving from one side of the map to the other for 15 minutes. I got this for my birthday off my uncle! Heres my game summary
GTA 3
Plot:You've been betrayed and left for dead. Now you're taking revenge, unless the city gets you first. Mob bosses need a favor, crooked cops need help, and street gangs want you dead. You'll have to rob, steal, and kill just to stay out of serious trouble. Anything can happen out here.
Verdict: Fun but not as good as GTA Vice City which I play more but I play this when a mission gets boring on Vice City so its percentage is 83%! I normally just mess about on this one.
GTA Vice City
Plot:Our "hero" is Tommy Vercetti (voiced by Ray Liotta), a gangster just out from a long stint in lockdown. Working for the Forelli family, Tommy is involved in a shady business deal that goes horribly wrong. So begins his quest to regain money, power, and respect in Vice City.
Verdict: Awfully fun! I feel sorry for my mate who bought Vice city and it broke after just 2 days! He had to take it back! I love this and motorbikes are fun and I love hitting people with my Baseball Bat outside of missions. Basic compared to San Andreas (I dont have it but I borrowed it off my mate)but fun! the hammer I also love using! It also takes my parents back to the 80s! the percentage is 98%
I have something to say before my conclusion! This game aint as violent as everyone says and heres why:
1. Language is only words like s**t and a**
2. The violence is strong yes but its more cartoony than realistic
3. Sex is in it but its only a car rocking
4. Nudity is included but it's only semi nudity no worse than what is on a beach on a hot day.
So parents I'm 12 and my verdict for you is if you're child is sensible, doing well in school and not violent let them have it but if they r not sensible, doing rubbish in school and violent say no so if they r sensible let them play it!
Conclusion: Great and 2 great games for a good price and you wont have to buy another game for a while because it will take a while to finish the 2! Buy now and San Andreas as well! Peace out people!

The bikes handle really well in LATD, in fact I rarely drove cars at all. Minigames like gang wars and bike races, pool, cards and arm wrestling are fun too. The campaign is top notch, like Hell Ride meets Sons Of Anarchy.

BOGT is awsome as well, its adds in all the rediculous over the top missions that were the standard fare in GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas

It goes without saying that Metal Slug XX is by far one of the best entries in the series and for fans a must have game.

Metal Slug XX is more or less a retooling of Metal Slug 7 which saw release on the DS a while back. Though the obvious difference in screen size and graphical power of the PSP make this the version to get. The PSP release removes many of the negative aspects of Metal Slug 7. For example the PSP game supports two player wifi which was sorely missed in the DS release. The first thing you will notice is how great this game looks now, the sprites(chearcters) are easily visiable on the PSP's screen and unlike the DS version the enviroments and enemies are easy to see and do not feature the DS's heavily pixleated background art. This game is a bit on th short side but like all the Metal Slugs the value is in the combat academy and replaying the game trying to save all the different soldiers in the game. Overall I can't recommend this enough, if you like old school 2D shooters then this will be exactly what your looking for.

At first I was a little disappointed in how the direction the game throws you at first! It sort of intimidates that this game is gonna be finished in a week and Vice City is not even as big as Liberty City. My review is VERY late since its release, but I must give this a 5 as an overall review. I do keep in mind that this game had the 'coffee' bit in it for some rather fake "skin-flick" action, but who cares? The game was rated "M" in the first place, and any 16 year-old who hasn't seen skin REALLY hasn't gotten out of the house much. On second note any 16+ kid who can't differentiate between violence/profanity/etc. on a game and their real life either have not had the necessary guidance from their parents or they need some professional help as the dillusional world they perceive is definitely a problem.

As for the game's stature, I find the series to be quite a large step in the series; becoming quite a legendary interactive step up since the "bird's eye view" GTAs of yester-year. There are so many things to interact with in the game from the vast varieties of vehicles to the aircraft, the people, the controls (local police, "Feds," National Guard), to boats, missions, and mini-games. I find it hard to decide if I take a drive today, finish missions, toy with the game's physics, or the occasional cheat to flush out frustration at the end of a long day. I give two thumbs up to this series since GTA III as it offers so much to the player and between its physics, variety, graphics, and replay value, it--as well as the rest of the recent editions--has merit for a true PS classic!

I really have only minor complaints for the game; the graphics being limited on portrayal of distant objects...merely masked by fog, humidity, or the like. Most of this is covered well by adjustment of the screen and the weather/environmental setting, but is limited majorly by the PS2's video processing and/or overall processing speed. Maybe it's attributable to the graphics engine, but for what it is I would HIGHLY recommend everything from GTA III up, especially since there exists the triple-pack! Go for the gusto!

I think of myself as a hardcore gamer, so I think I would know if this game was fun. From the many accesories you use to make your character unique, to the casinos and horse races, to the wide accesible area that always leaves you wondering what else is out there, this game is great. The missions range from easy to downright insane. Plus, all the new cars and weaponry this is the best Grand Theft Auto to date. But, the rating of this game is there for a reason. I do not suggest you get this for your nephew or niece. But, I say someone about 15 could handle it.
Just think of all the areas you can access and the new things you can install on your ride. Personally, I fancy the GoKart and the racing bike. You may favor the land and water vehicle. Whatever ride you are into it's in this game.

This is definitly the funnest and most exciting game ever made. Do whatever you want. If you want to walk around the city and shot people with shotguns, and maybe throw a few grenades here and there at cars, you do just that. Bewarned, the more desturction caused, the more your wanted by authorites. Or, take another approach towards the city and do mission after missions for different gangs such as the yakazu, and mafia. This is the best game ever!!!!

I am a Grand Theft Auto fanatic and I love revisiting the cities we've seen, but with new storylines. The way that the games tie into one another through various characters gives the player a feeling of investment in their fates. "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories" is no different. It is fascinating to see how the city appeared prior to the rise of Tommy Vercetti. An avid GTA fan will notice the subtleties and will catch themselves amused by them. The game is humorous and as fun to play as the original Vice City. I understand that this is a transfer from the PSP, but my only complaint is that I still would like to see the cities expand as we revisit them. All in all a good game.

Talk about the ultimate mobile game for mature gamers who love the Sopranos and Godfather series. Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories is the perfect game for the PSP.

Let me say again - this is a MATURE game. There is sex, there is swearing, there is a LOT of violence. Anybody who buys this game for their 8 year old is making a grave mistake. It really bothers me a lot when people buy adult games for kids and say "Oh I didn't know". It clearly says right on the box. There are a TON of adult gamers out there, and we like mature games, just like we like R rated movies. These games aren't meant for kids. They are made exactly the way us adults like them - full of adult situations.

That being taken care of, this is an *incredible* game. Let's start with the gameplay. It's hard to even imagine, looking at say a DS or GameBoy game, that any handheld could produce gameplay like this. You have a fully detailed, fully laid out cityscape. You can drive down any road, walk around amongst the people, watch the rain and sun and fog roll in. The storyline is great. The missions are great. Heck, even the sidegames are great. There are hidden packages to find, rankings to achieve, races to run, you name it. You could play this for months.

The graphics are spellbindingly beautiful. It's hard to believe this is a handheld game. You get rain falling down around your car as it careens past easily identifiable stores on a road, while pedestrians stroll down the sidewalks. From shooting tasks, to driving races, to handling a number of other situations, the graphics draw you into this world.

Let's talk about audio. There is a great selection of "radio stations" to listen to as you drive around. The voice acting really draws you into the story, to relate to the various characters involved. I've always loved the audio on the GTA games, and this is no exception.

Yes, this game requires a 2.0 update to run. The update is INCLUDED ON THE DISK. Anybody who has trouble finding it must be missing some basic computer skills. It's right on the main disk menu when you put the disk into the system. It's free, it's included, it's easy.

I can't say enough good things about this game. Let me try to figure out some down sides. Hmmm, well it's on a small screen. Heck, that's the whole point, that it's on a portable system. When I go on trips, I can bring it along with me. I think that's fantastic, to have a GTA system to bring on the plane or bus. I *did* find the storyline in general to be on the annoying side, truth be told. I really liked the original GTA3 storyline where you were a valued employee moving up in the ranks due to your skill. I found it frustrating in this one to play in essence an "uppity jerk" who is constantly put down either by his own mob buddies or his mom or other people. It didn't make the game nearly as enjoyable for me. This is my leisure time after all, to endulge in fun dreams. My fun dream isn't of being berated and harassed. That being said, the mom in the Sopranos always drove me completely insane too. You have to give a writer the leeway to write his own story, and if that's what he wants to write, you go with it.

This is a must-own game. It's a game for ADULTS. But it's a game with epic scope, great graphics, and great gameplay. Highly, highly recommended.

I thought the license plate, duffel bag, and metal security box w/ key (and a rockstar key chain) were a nice touch.

Gameplay: The menus are very handy, to include the first menu which has a map that you can set waypoints, which in turn create GPS driving directions on your small in-game map.
The cell phone does everything. You'll receive calls, texts, etc. You can change your ringtone, etc. It's also your connection to get online for multiplayer.
The fighting system has been improved. I like being able to seek cover and blind fire if need be.
Last night I had fun just playing pool and darts. These mini games are available at different locations.
I'm definitely going to have fun just exploring, etc. while working though the missions.

There were reports of the Online Community/Multiplayer being down. And yesterday (30 Apr 08) when the Online was still down I was getting the feeling it might take a while to fix, but when I came back from dinner it looks like they've got it back up and running. A def. plus.

There is a lot of freedom in this game. The random people on the street actually react to your actions. A rando dropped a cigarette, so I picked it up, still lit.

Driving and walking takes some getting used to, but fighting is pretty straight forward, lock on to your opponent and then dodge, kick, punch or jab if you're unarmed. If you're packing, well that's a different story.

There's a lot of detail in this game to include lighting and the environment. Your car takes damage depending upon what you hit and where. Or when bullets hit it...

I'm definitely going to have fun playing around with all the crazy details, mini-games, and exploring the city, which is so massive it's going to take a long time to visit the entire thing.

Not only is this not appropriate for kids, it's not appropriate for grown ups either. My husband loves computer games but finds this one disgusting as well. I'm not sure why raping women and shooting cops (among tons of other immoral acts) is considered entertaining. Who cares if it's not real! I wonder if anyone has stopped for one second to think about why they are enjoying these kinds of acts, even if they are "just pretend". It's really a shame that society has stooped so low that morals and values have gone out the window when it comes to how we "need" to be entertained.

GTA series are probably the few games that made PS2 and PS3 what they are today. Imagine the PS2 ratings without these series! Those who owned the Xbox and the 360 always died a little inside when they would always come out for PS2 or PS3 first.

This is a MUST for all avid PS2 and PS3 gamers. If you do not have a GTA game in your library, your library is probably not worth looking at.

*CAUTION - I bought this trilogy pack because I gave away my GTA series to a younger friend. I tried continuing my progress, but with no success - this trilogy pack is a special edition and therefore is not compatible with the original. I didn't mind starting from the beginning because I love this game anyway. :)

The special edition was pretty neat. I like the license plate that Amazon gave away with it! The duffel bag is nice and I like the safety deposit box. I haven't really listened to the cd that came along with it, but the book is pretty interesting!

I have been waiting months for this game to come out and let me tell you.... it was WELL worth it! The graphics are awesome and I catch myself playing the game for hours! The multiplayer is def awesome! If you plan on playing online I would go out and get a headset!

The disc included here can be useful for a few missions where you keep dying by using the Infinite Health cheat but the AR MAX codes are not compattible with this disc, for example: the disc comes preloaded with all tags sprayed BUT does NOT come with all oysters, horseshoes, photographs taken, etc. While there is an AR MAX code for these, the disc simply won't accept them. Maybe better off getting an AR MAX or Gameshark for around 10 more dollars so it can be updated and used for more than one game.

My parents won't let me have this game, but i played it at my friend's house, and it is AWESOME. You can chop people up with chainsaws, shoot peoples heads off with high-powered rifles, and beat cars (and people) to pieces with baseball bats and hammers. Theres like a thousand more things i could say. the cars have fake names, but you can regognize them by their body style, and there are cars from corvettes to K-cars. Amd theres mortorcycles, and tanks,and golf karts, and ambulances, and buses. But it would be cool if their were trains like in gta3

For a game like Grand Theft Auto to be only $20.00 should strike you as odd. That is because this version of Grand Theft Auto is not as complete as the past ones. Everyone knows the third game in the series rocked both the gaming world in 2001 and created a stir of controversy. That revolutionized gaming, and many followers have tried copying the formula we have grown to love, and have failed. After the subsequent release of "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" in late 2002, it added a new, fresh feel to the game with the throwback 80's gameplay, new characters played by real Hollywood voice actors and a bunch of new stuff in it like odd jobs, side missions and overall a brand new gaming experience. The 2004 release of San Andreas brought even more controversy, and added a ghetto theme similar to something like Boyz 'N The Hood or Menace II Society. This was addicting because of fun missions, a great storyline, plenty of space and tons of additions that just brought loads of fun and waste of time into every fans lives.

But, after the PSP explosion, this game was granted an exclusive. It was just recently that it was released on the PlayStation 2. It is not well-known about, mainly because there is nothing new to offer. The game takes place back in 1998 and you are Tony Cipriani, the guy who you took missions from way back in the third one. It is the same Liberty City from the third game. And when I say exact, I mean exact. The only difference is where guns and other items are placed. The storyline is pretty repetitive. It is very similar to many other games released in the past few years or so. There is no new additions to the game. In fact, since this was really, as another reviewer stated, a blow-up of the PSP version, you lose your abilities. Those include swimming, going into various shops excluding your safehouses and the gun store, "pimpin` out your ride" and other really great features that were in San Andreas. Basically, it is Grand Theft Auto 3 pasted with new characters and a new storyline. But, admist all the negatives, this game is certainly 5-star material. But if you are expecting something of the past three Grand Theft Auto games, you will be shut out. This game still has the fun blood, gore, sex, foul language and use of drugs that make it fun.

If you are hesitant to purchase this game, then I tell you, go out and sacrifice your money on it. If you were to pay $50.00 for this game, then maybe I would call you crazy, but I say paying only twenty is a steal. This is still the Grand Theft Auto game that we love, and the controls, character models and controversy that had parents, priests and politicans running mad are all back. But, if you have to have stunning X-Box 360 graphics, then stay away. These graphics are not that good, and even though I haven't noticed any glitches or bugs yet, I am sure that they are in there somewhere. In other words, this is a game that if you are a die hard fan (like me), then you must grab it without hesitation. If you are new to the series, and I ask you where have you been the past 5-6 years, then I recommend that you get the prior three releases. They are all timeless classics that will go down as legends. In the end, this game is a nice, little throw in for the series. Maybe it is a cash-in for Rockstar, but whatever. I still think it is good `ol Grand Theft Auto fun!

Another reviewer stated before that the engine that keeps the Grand Theft Auto series is dying. I have to agree with you. I could compare the series to a band that is starting to fade away and not get as much steam that used to power them. The video game world has been on a huge decline since, maybe, three years ago. All games are just not interesting, and they are too expensive and usually are rushed. I sometimes are pulling out my classic games from 5-6 years ago and buying used games to get enjoyment out of them. This is a problem with big markets taking over. Sure, video games were always huge, but now it is just too expensive and m,anufacterers feel that they have to release this game before someone else releases the same carbon copy. This saddens me, as I used to get extreme enjoyment out of my gaming system. Now that big money is in the mix, the world of gaming just isn't fun anymore. As for Grand Theft Auto, they are going to have to release something legendary as the next project, or else interest will be lost.

This game is great until you play it for a couple weeks. Once you beat it, it gets kinda boring but you'll find something fun to do. It is not as good as GTA3 in terms of city layout, but still is still jaw-dropping. The music is great for people who lived in the 80's but I like the regular made up music in previous GTA's. I still like the various cars and extensive amount of missons. It all makes a very good, ownable, and fun game for people who like to commit crime in games.

It’s an odd concept to be sure, but from the most schizophrenic of acorns the mighty gaming oak of Kingdom Hearts has grown. Legendary role-playing game makers Square have been given unprecedented liberties with the entire Disney universe and have created a game featuring everything from The Nightmare Before Christmas to The Little Mermaid. This is odd enough in itself when you have characters as disparate as Tarzan and Donald Duck teaming up, but becomes majorly freaky when Square thrown in a variety of their own characters such as Cloud, Squall, and Aeris from the various Final Fantasy games. But this incongruity has one side benefit in that the storyline behind the game is by necessity rather vague, which seems to have stopped Square from filling three CDs full of their usual New Age whining about Mother Earth. Instead they’ve spent even more time on the graphics, and the end result is a quite stunning 3-D cartoon.

As for the gameplay, it may come as a surprise to learn that it doesn’t actually feature, as all the Final Fantasy games do, turn-based combat. Instead it's essentially a scrolling beat-'em-up-cum-platformer with exactly the kind of complicated Square-style knobs you’d expect. i got the original versions when it first came out and stayed in line for it 2 hours and happy to say it was worth it.
now the game is awesome the best yet the graphics are great as well is the story line.
as i said i have the the version rated m the version on the ps2 where the big issue was brought up on the ahem mini game which you can unlock with proper codes.
now this game is not for children only geared for adults and the ahem issue to me is not a problem and would wish people would leave the ahem issue alone and its just a game geared for adults.
the version i have is the first out and it was rated wrong shouldve been ao but was rated m.
now back to the game everything is in this game that any gta fan will love.
rockstar did a great job with everything from music down to the story line some of the missions are a pain but it is beatable and also this game has an awesome replayability everything is wide open after you beat it.
i commend rockstar for an excellent product and would hope that will keep creating games of this nature now also they need to create when they make the games two versions one for m so they can sell it anywhere and one for ao i rather play the ao version myself.
there are not alot of game companies out there willing to take a risk that rockstar does.
in short great game a must have for any gamer

I've been playing the GTA series for 4 years now and I decided that Vice City was the very best of all video games ever made!...until I got this game a week ago...The game is so much more like real life in a gang(not that I know, but compare this to vice city and its pretty obvious0. The only reason I gave it a 4-star overall rating is because in two-player roam mode, almost every plane holds only one person(please pardon me if I'm wrong, I only have one PS2 controler...the other one's for PSone). this game is great! lots of side missions, wow ive been playing a long time and im not even 25% done with this game

right now im working on the car salesman missions, im on level 2 its not easy, there are so many side missions and nothing from the first GTA 3 is duplicated. There are packages like in the first but all in diffrent places. In this game anything goes, you can smash cars with a police baton, steal motorcycles, lots of jumps too! A few disappointments is there is no place to turn in stolen cars for cash (so far anyway) some of the missions are way way too easy but they are still alot of fun.

Just thought I'd clear up a bit of misinformation here. The item listed here isn't a book, but a disc. If anyone remembers the old GameGenie enhancers from the Nintendo and Sega days, this is like that, but for modern PS2 games. They contain not the standard "lower wanted level" and "Weapons" cheats that are found anywhere on the web, but rather alters the entire gameplay without the need for cheats. I had the disc for "Vice City" and it was quite good. Among the settings that you could program onto your game (which won't mess up your stats if you save after using them) were things like "moonjump", "unlimited health", "unlimited money", "unlimited ammo", "no police AI", "freeze mission timers", and "no vehicle damage."

Some of these can be invoked, to a lesser extent, by using the standard cheats, but the beauty of these is that you only need to activate them once per gaming session, and like I said, you can save your game without any adverse consequences as these are stand-alone cheats, and won't alter your stats or affect the number of pickups (for you folks who aren't satisfied 'til you've gotten 100% completion.) Other of the cheats like "no vehicle damage" or "no police AI" (you have a wanted level, but cops run around like idiots and never really pursue you) are unique and exclusive to the disc, and are worth the price just by themselves. I'm going to get this as soon as it's released, as the Vice City disc provided hours of maniacal fun.

After having heard so much about GTA and never having played one, I had to get a GTA game when I got my PSP. I am not disappointed at all. The game reminds me of the old Police Quest PC type games, but then on the other side of the law.
The game tells a story and takes you from mission to mission. The missions are waved into the story, and that is done very well.
It is very entertaining. The language is rough, so maybe not for the younger, also some images are quite explicit. Nevertheless a two thumbs up and I recommend this game.
Cons: it is not easy to save a game.

Story
The storyline of Modern Warfare 2 picks up where the events of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare left off. The ultranationalist Russian leader Zakhaev has been eliminated, but it seems that his lieutenant, Vladimir Makarov, is an even bigger danger. Having made a successful play for power, Intel indicates that he is extending the reach of his influence well beyond the borders of Mother Russia, causing a stir in the international community and prompting the involvement of Task Force 141. Task Force 141 is an elite multinational unit made up of Navy Seals, Delta Force operatives, British SAS and CIA. In the single player campaign you are Sergeant Gary "Roach" Sanderson, with the hero of Call of Duty 4, "Soap" MacTavish, promoted to Captain, making an appearance as an NPC (non-player character) and your commanding officer. The elimination of Makarov and his underlings at any cost is your number one priority, regardless where the fight occurs.

Gameplay
The latest release in arguably the most successful tactical first-person shooter franchise of all-time, gameplay in Modern Warfare 2 follows the same winning and time-tested structure of earlier games in the series. In the single player campaign players are aided by AI squad members as they take on a series of missions aimed at eliminating Ultranationalist forces. Each mission is built around a particular objective, with players utilizing some level of guidance from NPC characters, including "Soap" MacTavish, and aided in navigation by the game's heads up display (HUD). Along the way players will be able to utilize a wide variety of weaponry and and vehicles, as well as be able to customize weapons with gadgets attached to them.

Also, just as in previous games in the series, Modern Warfare 2 is heavily focused on multiplayer gameplay. The different multiplayer modes, available both in local play and online, contain plenty of customization options and revolve around different strategies ranging from the every man for himself action of "Free-for All," the classic team-based fun of "Capture the Flag and the tactical, team-oriented action of "Search and Destroy," just to name a few. Multiplayer modes also feature the "Perk" System that players may be familiar with from earlier in the franchise. Through this system players gain additional abilities, weapons and benefits as they gain experience in combat. This can be done by leveling up, but another important way way is through "kill streaks," the number of enemies eliminated in succession. These are available beginning with three kills and include the ability to call for supply drops, predator missile strikes, helicopter gunships and many more. Players have the ability to customize in advance which perks will be available at each number and can even gauge their progress towards each at the touch of a button. With an eye towards not making the game too hard for new players the game also features help to players experiencing "death streaks," multiple consecutive deaths in multiplayer matches.

Special Ops Co-op Mode
Along with a single player mode and multiple multiplayer modes, Modern Warfare 2 also features an unique third main play option, Special Ops Mode. Available both online and in local play, Special Ops Mode is designed to provide a distinct time-based play option, featuring special scenarios not found in other modes in the game and lots of enemies to take on. This mode can be played either alone or with a friend, again either locally or online, with local co-op play including split-screen functionality.

If you played and enjoyed Grand Theft Auto Vice City, you should like this game. Afterall, there is no place like home. The map is not identical to the first game but it's very similar. Some of the businesses you remember from the PS2 game have not yet been built but there are a lot of new businesses and the roads are slightly different in some area. There is also much more time spent on the military base near the airport, as your first save house is Vic's barracks on the base. For this game you start out on what is known as the second island. When driving along you hear the familiar message about bridges closed. Road blocks block access to the other island, but you can access Starfish Island from the beginning of the game.

The first few missions are simple enough. The main character Vic can swim for a short amount of time and the first mission has him swimming to shore and then delivering a package. The next mission you will be paying a visit to Phil Cassidy (a character from Grand Theft Auto Vice City), and helping him with some problem some people.

Rockstar Games did not push the Grand Theft Auto series further with Vice City Stories, so don't look for a lot of new features that didn't appear in San Andreas, the most recent game in the series. GTA Vice City Stories is basically a new adventure in a familiar setting.

The game looks gorgeous and quite cinematic on the PSP system. The soundtrack is awesome with all of the previous stations returning and a few new ones. The vehicle handling is awesome. I had a few issues with targeting as far as shooting but I got better with that. Playing the game you rely on the left analog pad a lot. On the PSP the pad is not raised off of the system. This caused my thumb to get sore a lot quicker than it ever did than when I played a game on the PS2.

Overall, GTA Vice City Stories is everything you loved about GTA Vice City in a portable system with a great soundtrack and a new storyline. I had absolutely no complaints with the game. I love the free roaming that GTA Vice City Stories provided in no time I was wandering around finding hidden body armor. I will say that the game is much better than Liberty City Stories, a lot of improvements have been made. This game will provide you with hours of fun.

As everyone says it's graphics aren't the greatest but hello look at the gameplay! You are able to hijack any car, work for gangs, have the army tailgate you! This game is simply the best!
I know it doesnt reach Grand Theft Auto 3's expectations but its 20 dollars cheaper. If you don't have a PS2 or don't have 50 bucks for the third i recomend Grand Theft Auto 2 too anyone!

Gameplay

As with the original Dead Space game Dead Space 2 is a survival horror game played from the third-person perspective. Playing as Engineer Isaac Clarke players navigate a new environment, the space city, known as "The Sprawl." Here you must avoid or eliminate enemies including various Necromorph, horrific corpselike creatures reanimated by an alien enemy, as well as solve physics based puzzles. Game features include: multiplayer support, improved telekinesis powers and new weapons and tools, including the javelin gun which can pin an enemy to the wall and a new space suit that contains built-in booster rockets providing for maximum movement in zero-gravity.
